Terms of Use
Draft: these terms are a draft and still need to be reviewed before FastLabel launches.
These terms are an agreement between you and Blake Labs Inc. (“we”) about using the FastLabel app and website. By using FastLabel, you agree to them.
1. Who can use FastLabel
You must be at least 18 and have a Discogs seller account. You are responsible for keeping your devices and accounts secure.
2. What FastLabel does
FastLabel reads your paid Discogs orders, buys shipping labels, emails them to you and, when you tap Yes, marks orders shipped on Discogs. We are not a shipping carrier. The carrier delivers the packages.
3. Postage and payments
- You load a postage balance ahead of time. The smallest top-up is $25. Each label is paid from that balance. If the balance is lower than the label price, we do not buy the label and we ask you to add money.
- US labels (Media Mail, Priority Mail, and Ground Advantage) are charged at the carrier’s price, with no markup.
- International labels add a flat service fee of $1.50 on top of the carrier price. The app shows that fee on its own line (“Service fee $1.50”).
- Postage that has been used (the package was shipped) is not refundable.
- If a label is voided and the carrier accepts the void, that charge goes back to your postage balance.
- Cards and Apple Pay are processed in test mode until live charges are turned on. A test top-up does not charge your card.
4. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for accurate weights, box sizes, addresses, and customs values. You are responsible for the packages you send and for following carrier rules (including Media Mail rules) and customs rules.
- Follow Discogs' terms and policies when you sell and ship.
- Don't misuse FastLabel, for example by trying to break it or by using it for anything illegal.
5. Discogs
This application uses Discogs’ API but is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Discogs. ‘Discogs’ is a trademark of Zink Media, LLC. FastLabel relies on Discogs' API. If Discogs changes or limits it, some features may stop working.
6. No warranty
FastLabel is provided “as is”. We work hard to get labels right, but we can't promise the app will always be available or error-free. Always check a label before you ship.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Blake Labs Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost, late or damaged packages. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. The cost of postage paid to EasyPost or USPS does not count as paid to us.
8. Ending use
You can stop using FastLabel at any time and ask us to delete your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or to protect the service.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and we'll tell you in the app if a change is important.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [to be decided], USA.
